Fjord Booking Terms & Conditions

By completing a reservation with Fjord, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms govern the purchase and participation in Fjord sessions and are separate from the liability waiver required prior to participation.

Reservations & Payment

Reservations are confirmed only after payment is successfully completed and you receive a confirmation email. Your confirmation email serves as the official record of your booking.

A reservation is not secured until checkout is completed.

High-Demand Reservations
Fjord releases reservations periodically and availability may change rapidly due to demand. A session appearing as available does not guarantee a reservation until checkout is fully completed and payment is processed.

Technical Errors
In the event of system errors, duplicate bookings, incorrect pricing, or other technical issues affecting reservations, Fjord reserves the right to cancel or adjust affected bookings. In such cases, guests will receive a refund or credit where appropriate.

Fjord reserves the right to cancel or modify reservations due to operational needs, safety considerations, or booking errors.

Arrival & Session Timing

Guests should arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled session time.

Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time in order to maintain fairness for all guests.

Late arrivals may result in reduced session time or denial of entry depending on operational constraints.

Session Duration
Sessions have fixed start and end times. Guests must exit the sauna area at the conclusion of their session so that staff can prepare the space for the next group.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Reservations may be rescheduled or canceled up to 48 hours prior to the start time of Private Sessions and up to 18 hours prior to Shared Sessions.

Cancellations made after the cancellation period are non-refundable and non-transferable.

No-shows or missed reservations are not eligible for refunds or credits.

If Fjord cancels a session due to weather, safety concerns, or operational issues, guests will be offered a reschedule or account credit.

Credits & Transfers

Credits issued by Fjord must be used within the validity period provided at issuance.

Reservations may not be resold or transferred for commercial purposes.

Fjord reserves the right to cancel reservations that are suspected of being purchased for resale or commercial gain.

Reservation Limits
Fjord may limit the number of reservations per guest or per transaction in order to ensure fair access to sessions. Fjord reserves the right to cancel reservations that appear to circumvent these limits.

Capacity & Group Size

Each session has a maximum guest capacity. Fjord reserves the right to deny entry if the maximum capacity listed for a session is exceeded.

Private sessions must adhere to the maximum guest count specified at the time of booking.

Guest Conduct

All guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, other guests, and the facilities.

Guests must follow all posted safety instructions and staff guidance while on site.

Respect for the Experience
Fjord is designed to be a calm and restorative environment. Guests are expected to respect the shared nature of the space and the experience of others.

Fjord reserves the right to refuse service or remove any guest whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with maintaining a respectful environment. In such cases, refunds will not be issued.

Health & Participation

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate in sauna and cold plunge activities.

Guests must follow all sauna usage guidelines and safety instructions provided by staff or posted on site.

Participation while under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol is prohibited.

A liability waiver must be completed prior to participation.

Age Requirements

Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and must have a waiver signed by a legal guardian prior to participation.

Fjord reserves the right to verify age.

Weather & Environmental Conditions

Fjord operates in an outdoor waterfront environment and sessions typically run rain or shine.

However, Fjord may cancel or modify sessions in the event of severe weather, unsafe environmental conditions, or other operational considerations. In these cases, guests will be offered a reschedule or credit.

Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Fjord is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Booking Integrity

Use of automated systems, bots, scripts, or other technology designed to circumvent fair access to reservations is prohibited.

Fjord reserves the right to cancel reservations suspected of being made using such methods.

Photography

From time to time, Fjord may capture photos or video for marketing purposes. Guests who prefer not to appear in such content may notify staff upon arrival.

Agreement

By completing a reservation, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and will complete the required liability waiver prior to participating in your Fjord session.
